Small in length, big in events. This year's February is turning out to be quite an important month.
Finishing my current course and driver's license. Soon I'll start looking for a small job until college candidatures begin! I was longing for some progress.

Now, a big deal in gaming. Homeworld Remastered.
When BBI (Black Bird Interactive) was announced containing most of the Relic team members and were working on a spiritual successor to one of my favorite titles ever, I was heart-warmed and relieved by hearing that they threw away the F2P model of the future project; Hardware: Shipbreakers it was. With the consequences of THQ's downfall, Gearbox had some good taste and bought the franchise at an auction. Noticing BBI's efforts and veteran team, Shipbreakers was brought unto the Homeworld universe under Gearbox's light, although put on hold for the revival of the two original titles.
I've been keeping myself from replaying the classics ever since the remasters were announced and after finishing the first one last night, I can say the wait was worth it. Unto the next one!
Still have to try out the Multiplayer though.
We wait for Shipbreakers now, with two beautifully facelift Homeworld games in hand - expecting nothing but the very best. Not licking anyone's boots here, but Gearbox deserves some damn kudos for taking the interest in Relic's masterpiece.
Also, and still relevant, this shows up:
www.fistsofheaven.com/Looks very interesting and the Homeworld love is obvious, which is a big plus ahah! Fists Of Heaven, apparently baptized after a fan-fic of the founder's authorship. Excellent start-off if you ask me, a collector's edition is definitely something I'd like to put my hands on:
www.fistsofheaven.com/launch-g…They're also recruiting contributors, which is an idea I'm digging. I've been pilling up some ship artwork to submit on DA and although enjoying fantasy, space/sci-fi stuff has always been my cup of tea.
Perhaps I could apply?
It has been an interesting month so far guys, see you next time!
Cheers,
